Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically manufacture and package quality adhesive bandages easily managing the operation, by adhering the segment of a bandage to the adhesive face of a support material, overlapping a protective film on the adhesive face, and putting the adhesive bandage between bands of a pair of packaging paper sheets. CONSTITUTION: A cutting station cuts a gauze band 23 to obtain a segment 23a, the gauze band 23 is retained on the adhesive face of a band of a support material 1, and a pair of protective film 29, 30 are overlapped on the adhesive face of the support material 1. A cutting element forms a lateral cut line B on the laminated band at the middle position of a continuous porous part 11 by an almost B-shaped blade, and the adhesive bandage 39 is completed every time the cutting element moves upward/downward and fed in between a pair of packaging paper sheets 40, 41. Those one pair of packaging paper sheets 40, 41 are put between a pair of rollers 42 to be sent. The forward sending speed of packaging paper sheets 40, 41 is set so that the adhesive bandage 39 is set in the packaging paper sheets at a proper interval as shown by the broken line 44.
