Abstract:
To provide a tubular article made of a fiber-reinforced composite material which can be suitably used for a gold club shaft or the like and which has a high twist strength.
A prepreg sheet contains reinforcing fibers drawn and aligned in one direction and an epoxy resin composition in such a manner that the tensile elastic modulus E (GPa) of the fiber and a 6°-compression strength σ(MPa) of the fiber-reinforced composite material satisfy formula (1): 200 GPa≤E≤950 GPa and formula (2): -3.6E+2,000≤σ≤-3.6E+2,600. The tubular article comprises a fiber-reinforced composite material layer obtained by thermosetting such a prepreg sheet. Further, a golf club shaft is made by using such a tubular article.
