PURPOSE: To enable the stable storage of the titled food or feed for a long period without troubles of the breakage of the packaging material, by vacuum- packaging the food, etc. with a packaging material furnished with a one-way vent valve.
CONSTITUTION: A rigid plate 2 (rigid plastic plate, steel plate, etc.) having an opening 5 is bonded to the opening 4 of a packaging material 1 (e.g. polyethylene film bag) with an adhesive 6 fitting the opening 4 to the opening 5. A valve 3 composed of a thin rubber plate, etc. is bonded to the rigid plate 2 with the adhesive 6' excepting a part 7 of the circumference of the plate. A food or feed, etc. exhibiting respiratory or fermentative action is filled in the above packaging material, deaerated, and sealed. The gas emitted after the packaging pushes up the valve 3 by its pressure, and is discharged through the vent 8 of the part 7 out of the packaging material 1 (the valve 3 is closed after the discharge of the gas). Accordingly, the food, etc. can be sealed without troubles of the breakage of the packaging material.
