Abstract:
To provide a press device which can output a high pressing force, can efficiently perform production while permitting a pressing operation to a large object to be pressed and, moreover, has a compact shape and a low cost.SOLUTION: A slide member 35 which performs vertical sliding is connected with a cam member 16 via a toggle link mechanism 13 and a driven means 15. The cam mechanism 16 is provided with a cam disc 6 having an endless cam groove 7 extended so as to surround a rotation center C1. The driven means 15 is provided with a cam follower 9 movably fitted to the cam groove 7. The cam groove 7 comprises a first curvature radius part 7a, a pseudo straight line part 7b, a second curvature radius part 7c and a third curvature radius part 7d and, when a curvature radius of the first curvature radius part is ρ1, a curvature radius of the second curvature radius part is ρ2 and a curvature radius of the third curvature radius part is ρ3, the cam groove is set to be ρ2<ρ1<ρ3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
