PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a titled press by constituting the device of a punch, a pad, a die and a blank holder and providing a cutting edge in the die and a cutting edge projected from the plate thickness of a work opposing to the end face of the pad in the punch.

CONSTITUTION: The press die for drawing and shearing is provided with a punch 3, a pad 14 and a die 5 for drawing. The die 5 for drawing has a cutting edge 12 on the stepped part 11, and the punch 3 has a concavity on the surface, and has a cutting edge projected from the plate thickness of a work W in the concavity 19. Shearing is performed during the course of drawing in cooperation with the cutting edge 12 blank holding the work W by the end face 16 and cutting edge 20. After performing drawing work by bringing the punch 3 close to the die 5, blank holding is released.
