Abstract:
To provide a low-cost compact press molding device capable of surely positioning a material to be pressed.SOLUTION: A press molding device has plural positioning units 6 arranged at prescribed intervals around a first metal mold 4. The positioning unit 6 comprises: a block body 6a having a positioning surface 6b at a front side; a support frame 6f advanceably/retractably supporting the block body 6a; and a spring member 6e energizing the block body 5a to the side at which the positioning surface 6b separates from the first metal mold 4. A second metal mold 5 is equipped with a protrusion 5b corresponding to the positioning unit 6, and the protrusion 5b has an inclined plane 5c and a sliding face 5d continuing to the inclined plane 5c to extend vertically. The inclined plane 5c makes the block body 6a advance so that the positioning surface 6b approaches to the first metal mold 4 against the energizing force of the spring member 6e while slidably contacting the block body 6a by the descending motion of the second metal mold 5. The sliding face 5d slidably contacts the block body 6a when press-molding by the first and second metal molds 4 and 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
