Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding method in which spring-back is prevented and there is less variation in molded shapes in press molding of a metal plate such as a steel plate.SOLUTION: This press molding method is a press molding method for press molding of a metal plate 17 into a shape having at least a top plate part and a vertical wall part by a die 5 and a punch 3. According to the method, a retractable movable convex part 11 is provided on a vertical wall molding part 9 in the punch 3, and in the front of a bottom dead center of a process in which the die 5 and the punch 3 are caused to relatively approach thereby molding the vertical wall part, and the movable convex part 11 is projected thereby putting the metal plate 17 into a three-point bending state that the metal plate is arrested by a punch shoulder part 13, the projection convex part 11 and a die shoulder part 21. Thereafter, the movable convex part 11 is sunk into the vertical wall molding part 9 of the punch 3, the die 5 is moved to the bottom dead center, and the vertical wall part is molded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
