PURPOSE: To efficiently discharge air present between a transparent plate and an intermediate layer by heating a laminated body comprising a pair of transparent plates and the intermediate layer during pressing.

CONSTITUTION: The pressing device for a laminated body has a pair of supporting bodies 10 which house the laminated body 20 comprising an intermediate film 22 and transparent plates 21 provided on both sides of the intermediate film 22, and a bag body 30. The supporting tool 10 consists of such a material deformable by heating. The supporting tool 10 and the laminated body 20 are housed in the bag body 30, which is evacuated and heated so that the contraction force due to the reduced pressure in the bag 30 affects the laminated body 20 with deformation of the supporting tool 10 at specified temp. Before the deformation of the supporting tool 10, no pressing force is given on the laminated body, and in this stage, air between the transparent plates 21 and the intermediate film 22 is discharged.
