Abstract:

To improve releasing properties and mechanical robustness of conventional pressure members so as to improve the lifetime of the pressure members used in an electrophotographic printing device and lower the manufacturing costs.

A pressure member includes: a substrate; and a coated outermost layer containing fluoropolymers and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) each surrounded by an elastic material.
