Title:
PRESTRESSED CONCRETE GRIDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2928474
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust an initial tension and increase the strength of a girder, by providing a retard-curing adhesive-filling layer in a bondless portion, in a pretension type prestressed concrete girder in which PC steel members with bondless portions are arranged.
SOLUTION: A prestressed concrete follower girder is provided with PC steel materials 2, primary bond control steel materials 3, and secondary bond control steel materials 5. A retard-curing adhesive is applied at the primary bondless portion 4 and the second bondless portion 6 and it is covered with a sheath. After concrete has been placed, the girder 1 is cured with steam and prestresses are applied. In the meantime, the bond control steel materials 3, 5 contract freely to release the tension without adhesion with the girder. Thereafter, the adhesive is cured in accordance with the elapsed time to join the girder concrete and the bond control steel materials 3, 5 together as a unit. Accordingly, corrosion due to voids is eliminated and the bond control materials function as axial steel materials and shearing reinforcements.
