Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a spark advance control which increases degree of freedom in accordance with temperature or load in addition to speed spark advance characteristics by controlling prestroke independently from a magnet coupling provided in a displacement transmission part of a flyweight.
CONSTITUTION: In a prestroke controller 31, a timing control rod 6 can be controlled from a mechanical governor side through a magnet coupling 26 due to lift of a flyweight 11. In addition, an additional device 36 for spark advance adjustment which can control the turn of the timing control rod 6 is provided on a pump main body 3 side. In particular, when temperature is low or load is small, it is possible to turn the timing control rod 6 counterclockwise as shown in the drawing to lower a control sleeve 5 and advance the timing of fuel injection independently from a governor even if the travel of the flyweight 11 is insufficient and a cylindrical cam 42 is not turned yet.
