Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain printing quality without complicating processing after printing even when printing data runs short in printing to continuous printing medium.SOLUTION: When a data amount of a buffer 31 is equal to or more than a predetermined value as a result of monitoring the data amount of printing data in the buffer 31 by a control part 33, the control part 33 makes a printer perform normal printing. When the data amount of the buffer 31 is less than the predetermined value, the control part 33 interrupts output of printing data from the buffer 31 to a printing head 21, and outputs non-product data to the printing head 21. Consequently, printing quality can be maintained since it is not necessary to reduce conveyance speed of continuous form paper WP during the normal printing in order to gain time when the printing data is accumulated.
