Title:
PRINTED COIL-TYPE TRANSFORMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3275972
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To secure insulation by covering conductors of printed coils with cover lay and to provide a small-size print coil-type transformer.
CONSTITUTION: This is about a print coil-type transformer which has a primary- side print coil 10 wherein a foil-like conductor pattern is formed spirally and pulse current or alternating current is applied to the conductor pattern and a secondary-side print coil 20 wherein a foil-like spiral conductor pattern to be magnetically bonded with the conductor pattern of the primary-side printed coil is formed. Out of the primary and the secondary print coils, the one having the smaller number of conductors has a cover lay 40 of high insulation strength which is required for insulating the primary side from the secondary side and which is so mounted on each conductor that it may cover the entire body of the conductor. The other print coil has a cover lay 42 of low insulation strength which is needed just on the side and which is so mounted on each conductor that it may insulate the facing conductor pattern.
