Abstract:
To provide a printer that can neatly align and bind paper bundles with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A printer 100 includes: a paper exit tray 12a for storing paper 201 ejected from an upper exit 13b (ejection section); a pair of side plates 112, 113 (side edge guide sections) for guiding two edges 201b, 201c of the paper 201; and a retaining member 110 held together with the paper exit tray 12a at a position where the paper 201 ejected from the upper exit 13b is stacked. The retaining member 110 is held to move to a position in the width direction W of the paper 201 where the paper 201 fits between a pair of side plates 112, 113 in response to the force exerted by the ejected paper 201 hitting the pair of side plates 112, 113.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
