Abstract:

To facilitate the selection of an authentication print object in a printer having an authentication printing function.

The printer has the authentication printing function to execute printing when person authentication is performed and the person is authenticated. The apparatus is equipped with a printing information storage means for associating the print data and presence/no presence of authentication instruction and storing the associated data, and a display means for displaying the list of the print data stored in the printing information storage means and accepting the selection of the print object. The display means lists up and displays the print data having the authentication instruction and the print data not having the authentication instruction in separate screens.
