Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent printing output due to printing media not intended by a printing data sender to always perform the printing output due to the printing media intended by the printing data sender.
SOLUTION: A CPU 12 is provided to a printer to perform control so as to supply printing media by selecting a printing media feed mechanism other than printing media feed mechanism set so as to prohibit selection other than the selection based on the kind of the printing media when the printing media feed mechanism based on the kind of the printing media is not designated at a time of the selection of the printing media feed mechanism for printing output.
