Abstract:
To provide a printer having no necessity of forming a profile for color matching by operating a computer by an operator by incorporating a color matching function.
The printer comprises a profile forming means for forming the profile for color matching to match a printing color by the printer to that by a proof reading printing output device, and a color matching process means for processing to match the color by the printer to that by the printing output device based on the profile for color matching formed by the forming means. Thus, the profile for color matching can be formed, and the colors of both can be made equal.
