Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of preventing a sheet from being torn by a gripper.SOLUTION: A printer comprises operating means 10 for operating a gripper 42G only once per two rotations of an inversion cylinder 42. A gripper 42G is prevented from making an entry into a recess 21R of a printing-side transfer cylinder 21 during the one rotation of the inversion cylinder 42 so that the sheet P cannot be torn by the gripper 42G. When the one rotation of the inversion cylinder 42 is completed, the operating means 10 makes a knob claw 51 of the gripper 42G enter a first recess 7 of an inversion transfer cylinder 41 to grip a back end P2 of the sheet P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
