Abstract:
Provided is a printing device in which the size increase of a cassette can be minimized while adverse events occurring in a tape are minimized. The present disclosure is a printing device comprising a printing device body and a cassette for printing that can be attached to and detached from the printing device body. The cassette for printing is provided with tape for printing and a case in which the tape for printing is accommodated. The printing device body is provided with a cutter for enclosing and cutting the tape for printing. The case has a first surface provided with a discharge port through which the tape for printing is discharged to the exterior, a second surface positioned farther to the outer side of the case than the first surface in the direction in which the tape for printing is discharged in the discharge port, and a third surface connecting the first surface and the second surface in the direction in which the tape for printing is discharged in the discharge port. The first surface intersects the direction in which the tape for printing is discharged in the discharge port. The cutter is positioned between the first surface and the second surface in the direction in which the tape for printing is discharged in the discharge port.
