To reduce the load fluctuation of a motor in a printing device including two printers each having a drum and a press roller and driving the drums and press rollers by one motor.
The printing device includes the first printer 3 having the first drum 31 and the first press roller 32 pressing paper P to a printing plate 31a on the peripheral surface of the first drum 31; the second printer 5 having the same kind of second drum 51 and second press roller 52; and a common motor for driving the drums 31, 51 and moving the press rollers 32, 52. The press rollers 32, 52 are moved between the pressing positions for pressing the printing plates 31a, 51a and the separated positions separated by a predetermined distance from the printing plates 31a, 51a. A period in which one of the press rollers 32, 52 moves toward the pressing position from the separated position overlaps with a period in which the other moves toward the separated position from the pressing position.
