Japanese Patent JPS60179265
Kind Code:

PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive hard-to-wear hammer pin with a simple shape by building up a hammer with a central pin and a pipe arranged in the perimeter of the pin whose tip sticks thereinto in a specified amount.

CONSTITUTION: A hammer pin is made up of a pin 3 and a pipe 4. The pin 3 uses a 0.3±0.01 superhard fine-diameter rode of tungsten or the like, inserted into an iron pipe 4 with the outer diameter 1 × inner diameter 0.3 for reinforcement leaving the tip thereof marginal and then, fixed at a mounting hole 11 of a plate spring 1 by laser welding, soldering or the like. Thus, an inexpensive printing hammer is obtained with a simple construction. The pin and the pipe are manufactured by pultrusion in stead of machining thereby making it very easy to secure the required dimensions.
