Abstract:
To provide a printing method and device capable of precluding occurrence of a poor performance of the transporting and transcribing operations and making a printing of high picture quality stably irrespective of the surface condition of a transcription medium.
The printing device 20 is equipped with a ribbon transporting roller 70 to transport an intermediate transcribing ribbon 28 on which the specified information is printed, a heat roller 26 to transcribe the specified information of the transported ribbon 28 onto the transcription medium 1, and a tension mechanism 80 installed between the ribbon transporting roller 70 and heat roller 26 for giving a specified tension to the ribbon transported to the specified transcribing position.
