Abstract:
To provide: an ink receiving layer composition to form an ink receiving layer which makes a prescribed print region of an object to be printed recognizable, where a print layer is printed on the print region, without sacrificing appearance characteristics of the print layer obtained; and a printing method and a printer that are based on the ink receiving layer composition.SOLUTION: An ink receiving layer composition constituting an ink receiving layer formed on an object to be printed contains inorganic particles whose average primary particle diameter is from 0.01 μm to 1 μm inclusive, a film-forming agent, and a solvent, where the content of the inorganic particles is from 8 pts.mass to 20 pts.mass inclusive based on 100 pts.mass of the film-forming agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
