To provide a printing method, in which the number of printing papers required for completing the on-machine development of the thermosensitive original plate for a lithographic printing plate, a means for realizing a favorable image formability in the on-machine development and a printing method in which sediment in a dampening water tank is suppressed.
The printing method using the original plate for the lithographic printing plate includes a process for recording an image on the original plate for the lithographic printing plate having a thermosensitive layer on a support, a process for removing the thermosensitive layer of an non-image part by feeding dampening water including 0.001-0.01 mass% of surfactant and at least 0.55 mass% of an organic solvent to the surface of the printing plate and a process for printing with the dampening water and ink.
