To obtain a probe adaptor that is mounted on, and attached to, a small probe, and that enhances the user's convenience and the reliability to user.
A probe adaptor is provided with a body 12 provided with a protrusion part 14, a tail part 16, and a slender groove part 18 used to house a probe 11. A probe-tip assembly which is attached to the protrusion part at the body is coupled to the signal input terminal of the probe at the inside of the body via a conductive sleeve 40 and a connector pin 22. When the probe is arranged inside the groove part, the signal input terminal of the probe is connected electrically to the probe-tip assembly. In addition, a grounding- conductor connector 52 which is connected to the probe is supported by a pad 34 which is formed in the center of the body, and a grounding conductor 54 and the grounding-conductor connector do not disturb a probing operation.
