Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process liquid coating apparatus enabled to suppress a degrading image quality due to insufficient dehydration by setting a temperature, at which a calorie necessary for drying a process liquid is attained, even in the case where the transport speed of a sheet is varied during image formation.SOLUTION: It is recognized, by the transport speed information on a recorded medium acquired a plurality of times from a recording device, that the transfer speed is changed by an image forming condition for the recorded medium. The duty ratio of a heating roller necessary for drying to a heater is changed by a drying control part 260 for changing the duty ratio at the heating roller necessary for drying into a duty ratio for setting a target temperature, at which a calorific value is obtained according to the transport speed changed, for an optional period from the start of delivering the recorded medium.
