Abstract:
To provide a regenerating method of a fixed bed for an olefin polymerization catalyst without stopping operation of the catalyst bed.
The process for olefin polymerization comprises two kinds of first feedstocks containing conventional olefin containing little aromatic compounds if any, and a second feedstock containing an appreciable amounts of an aromatic compound. In the execution of this process the first feedstock is replaced with the second feedstock each time when regeneration of the catalyst is considered suitable and the second feedstock flows continuously into the catalyst bed for an enough time for regenerating at least part of the catalyst.
