Abstract:
To provide a processing device, a processing method, and a program with which it is possible to derive information relating to snowfall with good accuracy.SOLUTION: The processing device of an embodiment comprises an acquisition unit and a derivation unit. The acquisition unit acquires observation information that indicates an atmospheric state in each of a plurality of divided areas into which an observation area is divided in the horizontal and vertical directions. When observation information for a target divided area selected from among the divided areas where the location in the horizontal direction is included in a common divided area group is inputted, the derivation unit derives information that indicates the degree of snow coverage on the ground by entering observation information acquired by the acquisition unit to a first estimation model that outputs information indicating the degree of snow coverage on the ground that corresponds to the target divided area, the first estimation model having a parameter trained so as to derive information that indicates the degree of snow coverage associated to the observation information when the observation information is inputted to the first estimation model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
