Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively recover toner left after transfer by preventing a developer from being fused and stuck onto the surface of a photoreceptor drum because of the excessive electrification of the toner left after transfer.
SOLUTION: This processing means supporting mechanism supporting a processing means acting while abutting on the photoreceptor drum 2 supports the processing means and also has a spacer 17 abutting on the surface of the drum 2 and holding the posture of the processing means with respect to the drum 2, and a compression coil spring 18 energizing the spacer 17 so that the processing means may abut on the drum 2 with specified pressure, and is characterized in that the position for energizing the spacer 17 exists on a more downstream side than the middle point of the abutting part of the processing means on the drum 2 in the rotating direction of the drum 2.
