Abstract:
To prevent water having got into the inside of an external sheath through a crack piercing the external sheath of a signal cable from penetrating into an aggregate of wire cores.
A cut edge of the signal cable 6 having the aggregate 2 of wire cores, an internal sheath 3 at the outside of the aggregate, a spirally wound layer of a metal tape 4 at the outside of the aggregate and the external sheath 5 at the outside of the aggregate are water-sealed by a waterproof material 7. Also, a terminal cap 8 is closely put on a terminal section including the cut edge of the signal cable 6.
