Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing target object reformer, printer, printing system, and manufacturing method of prints for manufacturing prints with high image quality while suppressing an increase in costs.SOLUTION: A processing target object reformer is a processing target object reformer that reduces the pH value of the surface of a processing target object by using dielectric barrier discharge, and includes a discharge electrode 11 and a counter electrode 12 that are arranged to hold a conveyance path of the processing target object 20 therebetween, and a power source 15 that applies, to the discharge electrode 11, a repetitive pulse voltage having an output voltage of 10 kVp-p or more and less than 13 kVp-p.
