To provide an article information providing system, a user memorandum management device, a terminal and the like by which article information regarding an article which a consumer needs to keep in mind, etc. is more properly and effectively presented to the consumer.
The article information providing system is provided with: the terminal used by a user; and the user memorandum management device to which the terminal can be connected via a network. The user memorandum management device is provided with: an article information acquisition means for acquiring the article information regarding the article specified by the user in the terminal and user identification information individually allocated to the user; and an article information storage means for storing the acquired article information as memorandum information of the user by associating the article information with the acquired user identification information. The terminal is provided with: a memorandum information acquisition means for acquiring the stored memorandum information corresponding to the user identification information about the user who uses the terminal itself from the user memorandum management device; and a memorandum information display means for displaying the acquired memorandum information.
