Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the clothes-treating product, capable of transferring a treating agent for clothes thereto at a high migration ratio in a drying step and excellent in preservation stability by supporting the treating agent for the clothes on a substrate such as fabric or nonwoven fabric, and further coating the substrate with a specific film-forming polymer at a specified weight ratio.
CONSTITUTION: The product for treating clothes is obtained by applying and supporting (A) a treating agent for the clothes, e.g. a softening agent or an antistatic agent, specifically stearyltrimethylammonium chloride or a hardened beef tallow alkyltrimethylammonium chloride on (B) a substrate (e.g. fabric, nonwoven fabric or paper) and further printing and coating the substrate with (C) a film-forming polymer (e.g. carboxymethyl cellulose) which is a solid form at ordinary temperature so as to provide 0.1-25wt.% weight ratio of the components [(C)/(A+B)]. This product for treating is capable of making the treating agent migrate to washed clothes at a high migration ratio in a drying step of the washing and applying excellent softness and antistatic properties thereto and excellent in preservation stability.
