PURPOSE: To obtain optimum production instructing data by storing a simulator simulating the state variation of a production line into the production control system using the expert system realizing the settlement of a problem by a knowledge processing technique.
CONSTITUTION: In a production line 21 stage 1 - stage (n) consisting of various kinds of processing machines are arranged. A data collection means 22 feeds to a central control device 25 by collecting the data of the operation state of a production line, the operation progress, the presence of an accident, etc. On the other hand, a production instructing data is input from a production instructing data input means 24 and fed to the central control device 25, which is composed by the data base 25c accumulating the knowhow of an expert, the expert system 25a storing the simulator 25b estimating the operation state in the future and the information transmitting means of the external part. The system 25a prepares the production instructing data based on the data from the collection means 22 and input means 24 and the estimation data of the simulator 25b, feeding it to a processing machine via an informing means 23.
