Abstract:

To contrive to produce a product, which conforms to all the JAS standards on a structural veneer laminated material by a method wherein vertical joint veneers are classified and piled up by utilizing a joining position detector and a controlling device so as to conform the joining positions of the vertical joint veneers to the JAS standards on the structural veneer laminated material.

Materials are scarfed in every standard length for vertical joining. At a location before or after the joint, a mark P is put with ink, chalk or the like. Vertical joint veneers 1, which have been cut-off in every determined standard length and piled up, are delivered one by one from the top surface of the pile onto a conveying device 3 such as a belt conveyor or the like so as to detect the mark P put with ink, chalk or the like at the location before or after the joint in the previous step process by a joining position detector 4 provided above the conveying device 3 in order to transmit the detection signal to a controlling device 5. The controlling device 5 judges the pre-set number of laminations and that the distance between the joining positions of the layers adjacent to each other is 30 times or more as far as the thickness of a veneer so as to transmit the judgment signal to a piling device 6 in order to successively classify the materials and fall them for piling-up.
