PURPOSE: To obtain the title textured yarn having soft touch, swelling, cripsy feeling and high strength by subjecting a specific multifilament and ordinary multifilament to yarn doubling and simultaneously drawing and falsely twisting.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Multifilament (denier ratio of thick and thin parts of preferably 1.3) prepared by delivering plural flows having different delivery linear speeds from a spinneret for melt spinning and joining right under the spinneret and having thick and thin parts in the longer direction of yarn and noncircular cross section and (B) multifilament having uniformity in the longer direction of yarn are subjected to yarn doubling in the ratio of (30:70)-(70:30), simultaneously drawn and falsely twisted to give the objective yarn wherein the multifilament A has ≥2.0 deformation degree and fine part of the multifilament A is cut. The textured yarn preferably comprises polyethylene terephthalate wherein the multifilament B has ≥20% higher elongation than that of the multifilament A and the multifilament has ≥0.05 lower intrinsic viscosity than that of the multifilament B.
