Abstract:
To provide a production method for producing functional composite fine particles by in-liquid drying which can obtain polymer beads and functional composite fine particle having desired particle diameters without causing coalescence of droplets.SOLUTION: In-liquid drying is performed by using a polymer surface active agent including a structure represented by the following formula, which is synthesized by AGET-ATRP precision synthesis using atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and an activator (AGET) produced by electron transfer, as a suspension stabilizer. In the formula, A has a chemical structure developing hydrophilic nature, B has a chemical structure developing hydrophobic nature, and Z represents a structure derived from a polymerization initiator, and may have a halogen atom on its terminal. In the formula, a and b represent repeated numbers, and are within a range of 10-1,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
