Abstract:
PURPOSE:To safely obtain the subject material, capable of controlling the molecular weight, excellent in heat resistance and operating efficiency and useful as an optoelectronic material, etc., by subjecting a specific dihalogermane and a specified trihalogermane to the electrode reaction under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:A dihalogermane expressed by formula I (R1 and R3 are H, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, amino or silyl; X1 and X2 are halogen) and a trihalogermane expressed by formula II (R is R1; X1 to X3 are halogen) are subjected to the electrode reaction by using a perchlorate as a supporting electrolyte, an aprotic solvent as a solvent, Mg, Cu or Al as one of the poles and an electrically conductive material of the kind same as or different therefrom as the other pole while changing over the polarity of the electrodes to afford the objective material composed expressed of a structural unit expressed by formula III or IV is obtained.
