Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a high-density granular detergent excellent in solubility and detergency at low temperature.
CONSTITUTION: In the process increasing the density of a spray-dried product consisting of a nonionic surfactant and builder by agitation granulation, a 5-20wt.% of water-containing nonionic surfactant of an ethylene oxide adduct to a primary or a secondary 10-16C alcohol of 4-12 average degree of polymerization is added to the spray-dried product to give this high-density granular detergent composition with a bulk density of ≥0.65g/cm3.
