Abstract:
PURPOSE: To parallel produce an outer holding unit and an inner holding unit of an one-way clutch by recessing a flat plate of metal in two steps, forming two parts of different diameter and cutting the step part connected to both parts.
CONSTITUTION: A flat plate 1 of metal is recessed in two steps. This recess has a 1st part 2 including a 1st inner circumferential surface 2a of a 1st diameter and a 2nd part 3 connecting to the 1st part 2 and including a 2nd inner circumferential surface 3a of a 2nd diameter smaller than the 1st diameter. A curved periphery 5 of an opening 10a of the recess 10 is bent and formed in an almost right angle against the axial direction. A step part 6 connecting to the 1st part 2 and the 2nd part 3 is bent, and at the same time a curved part 7 continuing from the 2nd part 3 to a bottom part 8 is bent. The step part 6 is bent against the periphery 5, and at the same time the curved part 7 continuing to the bottom part 8 is bent, and made in the right angle against the axial direction. A part of the step part 6 nearby the 2nd part 3 is cut, and the 1st part 2 and the 2nd part 3 are separated. The 1st part 2 is formed into the outer holding unit, and the 2nd part 3 is formed into the inner holding unit.
