Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily obtain human progelatinase by mixing a progelatinase.TIMP composite with a urea solution followed by dilution and then subjecting the resultant solution to pigmentbound affinity chromatography.

CONSTITUTION: A composite of human progelatinase and human tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase (TIMP) is mixed with a urea solution followed by dilution to 0.4 to 0.8M or so. The resulting solution is then put to pigment-bound affinity chromatography, and the objective human progelatinase can be obtained from a fraction adsorbed to the column.
