Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize recording with a low external field by specifying a first enhance film and/or a second enhance film at the time of film deposition.
CONSTITUTION: A first enhance film 2, a magnetooptical recording film 3, a second enhance film 4 and a reflective film 5 are formed sequentially on a substrate 1. The first and second enhance films 2, 4 are formed on the substrate 1 and the magnetooptical recording film 3 by sputtering an Si target in a mixed gas atmosphere of argon gas and carbon dioxide or carbon dioxide thereby depositing SiCON having specified atm %. This structure realizes low field recording and efficient production.
