Title:
WEAR-RESISTANT COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3302184
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration from occurring to penetrability into the ground even though a material is used for a long time by a method wherein a wear-resistant layer that extends from the front side to the rear side is provided to the upper face of an excavating blade.
CONSTITUTION: In a ripper point where the edge 3 of an excavating blade of a bulldozer is formed with an upper face 1 and a lower face 2 joining together, a wear-resistant layer 4, extending from the edge 3 of the excavating blade to the rear side, is formed by building-up on the center of the upper face 1. The wear-resistant layer 4 is formed by arranging hard built-up layers including hard particles and soft built-up layers made of soft materials alternately, and thereby the wear-resistant layer 4 becomes hard to be broken off.
