Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a metallic mirror which does not require the skilled workmanship in production stages, is low in cost, permits ass production and makes it possible to obtain bright and clear magic mirror images of a distinct difference in brightness and darkness.
CONSTITUTION: A mirror finished surface 1 of a mirror body 2 consisting of a metallic material is formed to a projecting surface shape with a central part as a center and a mask 3 is formed on the projecting surface by printing of patterns to form projected images; thereafter, the entire area of the projecting surface is uniformly polished with fine abrasive grains stuck to a soft member to form dents 4 of a recessed curvilinear shape. The mask is then removed and further, the mirror finished surface is finished by polishing.
