PURPOSE: To reduce cost by using a metallic sheet stock ornamented by subjecting the surface of the metallic sheet to various surface treatments and forming vessels having excellent corrosion resistance and beauty with a fully automated forming stage.

CONSTITUTION: The metallic sheet stock 3 formed by preliminary subjecting the entire surface of the metallic sheet 1 to the surface treatments 2 such as ornamenting, coating or rust preventive treatment is used and the vessel 4 is formed by a combination of a stage for blanking to a suitable shape and a drawing stage. An open end 5 of the vessel 4 is cut off and formed by an end cutting stage using pressing, etc. to form a finished end face 6. The end faces 6 are arrayed to face a specified direction and while many pieces of such vessels 4 are continuously fed, films 7 of an ornamental material such as heat drying type paint, paint curable by UV rays or paint curable by electron rays are successively coated and formed on the surfaces 6 by a continuous coating stage. The above-mentioned vessels are formed by the fully automated forming stage, by which the cost reduction is made possible.
