Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method at high yield for multi-membered ring derivative of 7 or more-membered ring represented by 7-membered ring, 8-membered ring and 9-membered ring, of the halo acetaldehyde cyclic acetal derivatives.SOLUTION: The halo acetaldehyde cyclic acetal derivative having a multi-membered ring of 7 or more-membered ring, is produced by distilling, under the presence of an acid compound, a mixture containing a particular halo acetaldehyde cyclic acetal derivative and a particular polyacetal compound, and distilling off the halo acetaldehyde cyclic acetal derivative out of the reaction system.SELECTED DRAWING: None
