Abstract:
To provide a production method of a staple fiber which is difficult to form machined paper defects and has improved thermal shrinkage, and a machined paper thereof.SOLUTION: The production method of the staple fiber is characterized by that unstretched yarn of a synthetic resin is subjected to neck stretching, heated in a hot water of 90-100°C or in a saturated water vapor of 150°C or lower under an over-feed condition of 5-30%, then applied with an oil, then cut without sagging tows.SELECTED DRAWING: None
