Title:
PRODUCTION OF MODIFIED EPOXY RESIN AND ITS USE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3791252
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating composition giving off a slight amount of fume at the time of coating and intended for giving a coating composition capable of forming a coating film having high adhesive force to metals and excellent in water resistance, processability, hardness and the like, and to provide a method for producing a constituent capable of exerting the above mentioned functions.
SOLUTION: This method for producing a modified epoxy resin comprises the following steps: reacting the epoxy group in an epoxy resin (a) with at least one OH group in one phosphoric acid compound (b) having at least 2 OH groups in one molecule to obtain an intermediate product (1) having OH group drived from the above-mentioned phosphoric acid compound (b), and then reacting the P-OH in the intermediate product (1) with the amino group in a compound (c) having an amino group.
