PURPOSE: To obtain the titled molded article having extremely improved compatibility with olefin, excellent heat resistance and electrical characteristics at low cost, by subjecting an ethylene fluoroethylene copolymer to graft polymerization with a hydrocarbon (derivative) containing one unsaturated double bond.

CONSTITUTION: In subjecting (A) 100pts.wt. ethylene fluoroethylene copolymer to graft polymerization with (B) 0.5W10pts.wt. hydrocarbon derivative [e.g. monosubstituted ethylene compound shown by formula I (1≤n≤10) containing one unsaturated double bond in the presence of (C) a compound (e.g. dicumyl peroxide) to produce a free radical part, at any period before or after the reaction, (D) a polyolefin in an amount to give the ratio of the polyolefin and the component A of 5:95W50:50 is added to the reaction system, the prepared composition is molded and crosslinked by radiation exposure.
