Abstract:
To provide a method for producing paper, by which the draining, holding and forming of paper are further improved to give the highly filled paper.
This method for producing the paper or paperboard, comprising forming a cellulose suspension, draining the suspension on a screen to form a sheet, and then drying the sheet, is characterized by flocculating the suspension with a flocculating agent containing a silicate-based substance and organic fine particles having an un-swollen particle diameter of <750 nm.
